All that needs to be done is to attend every meeting possible at the KH. Sit in the back and don't bother anyone for approx. a year. Then write a letter to the Committee that dealt with you asking to be reinstated. If the Committee no longer exists write to the Body of Elders. They will meet with you and start the ball rolling. Eventually, they will let you back in. Let's face it, they are losing people and want everyone they can get. You will be watched and greatly restricted. Probably the Body of Elders will never aloow you to be used in any capacity, and if they do, it will be many years after reinstatement and observation. the CO will see to that.

New Witness: The position of the WTS (for people in the US and Canada) is that an earing is a piece of women's jewelry. Men shouldn't wear them. This would be cross-dressing. If you do, you will be viewed as weak and immature and will not be given any privleges, and you will not be allowed on the platform or in the TMS if you wear the earing. You can go in service (by the way, no one can be excluded from service). That's the extent of it. This is the same treatment for men who wear beards.

The org is going down----I can feel it!
by stopthepain in.
my brother called me today.he is 20 ,3 years younger than me,and out of the religion.he still has fear though that it could be true, but thats another story.. he told me he heard my mother and father talking upstairs.my mother said about the org "ive put 26 years into it,i think i'm done with it,i might just go sunday from now on".this is huge ,because she was a devoted nutjob witness.she made my life horrible for the 1st 17 years of my life.i had been trying to suddly tell her the truth about the troof, but i didn't expect this.i'm happy and yet i want to know where she stands with the borganization.. this along with what seems to be an outpouring of similar stories,i have a gut feeling the jehovahs witness mind control cult is on the brink of implosion.everyone is so burdened by it.the jig is up,gb,good riddance when you fold.the rank and file have had enough.my 2 younger sisters are on the edge of mental freedom.i hope they can fully get free of it.. this is a milestone in my families long and strange trip in mental enslavement!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen to that. I was a young person when the 1969 Awake came out. I was told the same stuff that you were by my Mother, the Brothers the WTS, etc. We all have to get used to the idea that what we were told was wrong, and that we will die in this system of things. The only thing that anyone can do is maximize their life at this point in time. This will mean different things to different people. I feel sorry for the many people that I know and grew up with who are still involved and lived deprived lives at age 50-60, etc. They are staring down the barrel of becoming elderly and have little in the way of material things and substance to sustain them in their later years. they thought that Armageddon would rescue them at an earlier age and whisk them into the Paradise.

Supposing The WT DOES Monitor This Site..
by Englishman inhow can those doing the monitoring not be affected by what they read here?.
how can anyone not be affected by the paedophilia scandal, the un scandal, the 1975 debacle?.
how do they find someone to read here and still stay a jw?.

I think that the WTS realizes how damaging this site is to them and they monitor it 24/7. My guess would be that they use peopple that are totally indoctrinated and have been at Bethel for a very long time so they have no money and depend on the WTS for the roof over their heads and the food in their stomachs. They therefore can't do much about what they read here. They are probably trying to ID as many people as they can from what is presented here.
They probably have joined the site under the "theocratic warefare" guise and post etc, to see what they can find out about the others.

Blondie:
Excellent point! I thought the same as you do and asked my wife that this past weekend. I asked her a little differently. I said if you lived in the year 325 or 819 for example, who would be the FDS if in fact God was caring for people that way. She said that she had not considered this, but felt that there always was a FDS around somewhere. Some questions go unanswered.
